Intel Ships Faster, Leaner Ivy Bridge Processors
Your next computer is about to get faster. Not just faster but more efficient, thanks to Intel's ability to get more transistors on its processor. To accomplish the already difficult feat of throwing more transistors onto a chip, Intel took a cue from urban planners. They built up instead of out.
